In light of the whole clawdbot/moltbot nonsense, Ask AI wanted to inject a bit of COMMON SENSE back into the conversation about AI agents in the form of a quick word game that takes about 15 seconds to play. It's a bit like Wordle, but focused on AI agents and the future of society.
Quick Overview
AI agents are being hyped far beyond their actual social, economic, and moral capabilities.
AI agents represent important technology with many legitimate efficiency-boosting use cases, but how it’s introduced, governed, and adopted is what really matters today.
This post uses a quick 15-second game to illustrate a basic point: agents can do tasks, but they can’t share duties of citizenship, care, accountability, or contribution.
Most real-world responsibilities, taxes, governance, empathy, training, social programs remain fundamentally human.
Treat agents as tools, not peers or replacements for societal obligations.
The future of work depends on human judgment, accountability, and collaboration, not fantasies about autonomous systems.
How To Play The Agentic AI Game
The rules of the game are simple! After each of the following statements choose which of the following two statements most accurately describes the future:
A: But they could
B: And they never will
Got it? Let's go!
