Volunteer Role: Community Manager

Our volunteer Community Manager role is a perfect opportunity to gain experience and make connections in one of the most exciting sectors within Canada's innovation economy


The volunteers at Ask AI are seeking a volunteer Community Manager to boost our social media presence and help coordinate LinkedIn Live events where Canadians from coast to coast will be invited to ask questions directly to expert guests.


We will also provide training and access to tools including Wix, Canva, Riverside FM, Ada (chatbot), and Buffer.

Activities


The Ask AI Community Manager is a flexible role and volunteers set their own schedule in support of the following activities:

  • Posting content to Twitter, LinkedIn (page, articles, and groups) and chatbot

  • Engaging followers and influencers via Twitter and LinkedIn

  • Planning LinkedIn Live online events

  • Publishing content to our blog

Skills

  • Social media marketing

  • Copywriting

Expectations

  • 4 hours per month (self-managed)

  • 6 month term

  • Ideal start date: ASAP
