Ask AI is a registered nonprofit dedicated to supporting Canada's World-class artificial intelligence sector for an audience of students, professionals, policy-makers, and everyday citizens. We produce a popular podcast, free events, and a helpful chatbot.
Our advisory board includes representatives from some of Canada's top organizations and startups who share our dedication to the advancement of a fair and impactful artificial sector in Canada and beyond.
We're currently seeking a volunteer Community Manager to help boost our social media presence.
This is a highly flexible role and volunteers can set their own agenda to support the following activities:
Identify shareable content (in collaboration with podcast and event producers)
Gather Canadian AI news (e.g. via Google Alerts)
Create social post graphics, GIFs, and audiograms (via Canva)
Schedule Ask AI posts (via Buffer, Hootsuite or similar)
Post content directly to our chatbot (via Ada)
Engage followers and influencers (via Twitter, LinkedIn)
Distribute monthly email newsletter (via Wix)
Ideas for posts and content will be shared by fellow Ask AI volunteers
Training on tools will be provided as needed
2-4 hours per month (self-managed)
9 month term
Ideal start date: June 2021
